Schon das zweite mal kommt die Chorakademie mit einem Weihnachtsprogramm in den schönen Shanghai Saal von Yu Garden. In diesem Konzert präsentieren wir nicht nur a cappella Chor Arrangements von Internationalen Weihnachtsliedern, sondern auch unsere Sänger als Solisten in verschiedenen Sololiedern mit Klavier.

Als musikalischer Gast wird an diesem Abend Yusheng Frauenchor aus Hamburg da sein.

For the second time already, the International Choir Academy comes with a Christmas Program to the Shanghai Hall of Yu Garden. In this concert we present not only a cappella arrangements of international Christmas songs and carols, but our singers will also present themselves in solo pieces with piano.

As a musical guest for this evening we are happy that again, Yusheng Women Choir from Hamburg accepted the invitation.

Auch im Jahr 2024 umfasst das Programm der Internationalen Chorakademie zu Weihnachten wieder Weihnachtslieder aus aller Welt arrangiert für Chor a cappella, gesungen in der jeweiligen Originalsprache.

Darüber hinaus ist es uns gelungen, die etablierte Vokalgruppe ManSound aus der Ukraine für uns zu gewinnen. Das Ensemble ergänzt das Programm mit eigenen Pop und Jazz a cappella Arrangements.

Ein besonderer Aspekt des Programms besteht darin, dass die beiden Ensembles gemeinsam musizieren und so spezielle Arrangements für diese einzigartige Besetzung vorstellen – Internationale Chorakademie und ManSound!

The International Choir Academy under the artistic director and founder Rolf Beck is a vocal ensemble varying in size and constellation that presents innovative and unusual concert programs.

The ensemble with its academic work ethos is constantly evolving and is keen to discover, support and advise young talented singers from all nations.

We organize regular auditions throughout the world to discover and develop international next-generation singers.

We have an annual intensive work phase – The Academy – with concerts after each project. Despite “The Academy”, we also go on regular concert tours within Germany, Europe and around the world.

We’re doing our yearly auditions in April and May of this year. Please check the list down below for further information on which cities they will be taking place in and when.

The academy will be taking place in Rendsburg (DE) and Paris (FR) from the 22.09. until the 06.10.2024.

GENERAL INFORMATIONS

–          Applicants should be voice students or students of a post-graduate program

–          Age limit: ladies 32 years, gents 35 years

–          A selection jury will decide which applicants are accepted for the Choir Academy 2024

–          The selected participant’s travel expenses, accommodation, and meals will be covered by The Choir Academy.

–          Applicants should be able to communicate in English, as this is the working language in general

–          Deadline for Application is always 1 week before concrete Audition date
